Sawyer Scheid of Monroe County has a deep interest in learning about insects and aquatic life. He was able to further his research and begin sharing it made possible by a YES Grant from the Indiana 4‑H Foundation.
Sawyer spent a total of 23 hours doing research and observation outings on aquatic life and insects in Monroe Lake. After gathering his research, he prepared interactive displays and presentation displays to share his findings at Bloomington Bug Fest 2021, the Indiana 4‑H Foundation Leadership Summit and at Indiana Department of Natural Resources campground Youth Activity.
