YES Grant Offers Opportunity for Youth-Led Hometown Projects

Published: March 15, 2021

If you (and your friends!) have an idea for a community service project you would like to implement in your hometown, you may apply for funding through our new YES Grant (Youth Engaged Service Grant).

4‑H members understand the importance of philanthropy — of giving our time and offering our help because it’s the right thing to do. Our goal is to create opportunities for youth to take the lead in making their own communities a better place for all. The YES Grant is intended to give these projects the financial boost they need to get off the ground and start making a difference.

Funds for this initiative were made available from the Nola Gentry Charitable Trust.  Nola dedicated her life to community service and giving back.

Updated 5/16/21: The application period for 2021 is now closed. Projects must be completed by December 31.
