4-H Foundation Receives $15,000 Grant from Duke Energy

Published: July 2, 2020

Thanks to a $15,000 grant from Duke Energy, Indiana youth will develop their understanding and knowledge of the energy industry. Duke Energy will supply kits and program materials to allow youth the opportunity to explore the fundamentals of electricity, renewable energy technologies and energy conservation, and to explore energy careers that they can obtain in the future.

Counties served by this project include Daviess, Greene, Henry, Knox, Parke, Putnam, Scott, Tippecanoe, Union, Vermillion, and Vigo. Kits will remain in the counties to serve additional youth , continuing the commitment of Duke Energy to these locations.

Indiana 4‑H recognizes the importance of providing STEM activities to teach science-based learning and life skills through hands-on and inquiry-based learning. Thanks to Duke Energy for investing in Indiana youth!
